The Rec Hotel

Really nice country pub. The manager was great when I asked him if they had Uber he laughed. He asked where we're we going too, we said the race course our horse is running in the second race. He ended up dropping us off.

Nothing.

Quiet area and easy to get to

Not sure I can choose anything

Clean and comfortable

Shower head is impossible to navigate if you don’t want to wet your hair and water goes everywhere Check in process could have had more instructions I arrived late and had no idea where to go. Called several times and the phone rang out until finally the pub answered

Location was good and room size was great.

There was not even a box of tissue or a pen in the room. Coffee was Internationsl roast. The room had a musky smell when we first arrived. Also we confirmed it was ok for an earlier check in due to a wedding we were attending and this message must have not been relayed to the staff working that day so there was a bit of confusion and a bit of reluctance to check us in. Didn't know there was a key drop off box and when we went to check out in the morning noticed the reception doors was closed and locked.
