Breakfast good quality..adequate but mayb could do with a little more on par with other places as we travel quite a bit..

Character building situated handy for our trip . Very good food being served and staff all seemed hard working and polite .
First upstairs bedroom offered was next to a room housing a water pump for kitchen area which was noisy . Staff were understanding and quickly moved us into an adjacent room . The rooms are getting tired and shower area with curved screen was a challenge to get around but shower itself was powerful and good .

All general stuff good
Only two issues
Our room Alderton at the top of the stairs has a VERY LOUD water pump that services other rooms
Did tell staff that it needs to be swapped for a MUCH quieter one.
Very disturbing
Also windows only opened a bit and there was a smell of poo in our room which staff attributed to muck spreading locally
