Ella River Front

Great location, just away from the main high street but that’s what makes it a quieter location. Great facilities, friendly host, good breakfast and excellent view from the room. Comfy bed and great shower, would recommend and wish I had booked longer

Close to town. Great view. Comfotable bed

The rooms were not well serviced or mantained. Hair down the shower tray plug hole ment that the water flowed away very slowly and the tray was at the point of overflowing at the end of your shower. The same with the sink the pipe under the sink had been crushed and would therefore clog very easily. One of the electrical sockets was coming out of the wall, you had to hold the socket inplace to remove the plug. Also the power went out on multiple occasions. But that seems to be an Ella wide problem. Could last 2 seconds 2 minutes or 6 hours, you never know, bring a tourch. The room was quite noisy. There are gaps between the walls and the ceiling so any sound travels unchecked in to your room. I never saw a pool table but i could hear the balls colliding as if the table was in the room, but the main noise was from the dog which could bark for hours at a time. Not the peaceful retreat i had hoped for.
