Il Vento dei Sassi is perfectly situated to see beautiful Matera. The room was very clean and our host left clear instructions for everything and was also very helpful with any queries we had.

The owner was very good in communicating! We got free water and juice and some vouchers for breakfast coffee and croissant.
The location was great and we could find some free parking closely nearby.
When it rained, water came through the window, the shower didn’t work properly and the toilet seat was broken. As we only stayed one night that wasn’t a big problem. But considering the amount we paid, I expected a bit more.

very unusual location overlooking the the Gravina.
the view is spectacular. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom shower is clean and new.
the bed is comfortable. the host kept in touch and was very accommodating.
the room has only one window so it is a bit dark.
construction and drilling on the adjoining buildings begins at 7 am.

Location perfect. Clean apartment. Easy to communicate with owner. Fantastic view.
Weekend perfect. Unfortunately on Monday morning workmen started drilling next door at 7 o'clock otherwise no other dislikes.

This place is so beautiful, clean and has unique atmosphere. Everything was amazing and host went an extra mile in helping us find information about transport. Great bathroom with soo many towels!❤️ Highly recommend!

The view from the room was so special it is hard to describe. The room itself was spacious, clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the bathroom decor and large rain shower. Cristina was a very helpful host in telling us how to arrive, where to park, restaurants to try and even booked a walking tour for us. A great experience all round!

There is NO parking nearby as promised. At least 500m to public car park if available. This should be clearer in the description.
