Affordable pricing and convenient access to the main station.
Reaching the bus stop for the main station requires a bit of an uphill climb.

Location has excellent views and is very quiet, nice location by the river.
Apartment is very clean, pest control traps a little disconcerting but no wildlife encountered in the apartment!
Shoer room a ilttle on the small side and there is a bit of a walk to Ost train station - need to allow time to get to trains, boat etc. It is a bit of a sttep hill to walk to the bus stop...you need to be reasonbly fit. No dishwasher. Can be quite warm inside on hot days but tradition shutters help to keep the heat out.

Excellent room and facilities. Very detailed information provided in a book by owner. Comfortable sleep on good beds - fans and heaters provided for all year comfort. Great riverside views from and around the apartment. Owner very quick to respond to queries.
Difficult to take luggage into and out due to gravel roads leading up the property and difficult for taxis to negotiate the roads.

Amazing view.
Proximity to river trail for morning jog.
The apartment is fully equipped and functional (garbage bags, sponge & soap, etc…). It is basic, but allow a 100% autonomous stay.
I didn’t pay attention enough while booking: this was an apartment stay without breakfast or service. My mistake. Many local regulations applies in Switzerland. You can find most information in the apartment booklet provided, yet it lack of interaction and presence.

"Amazing location across the river and only 15 min walk from Interlaken Ost, while in a quiet and very nice area, on the river, with a beautiful garden, and easy access for dipping into the river.
