Vicinissima alla stazione. Camera pulitissima con letto 1 pizza e mezza comodissimo, bel bagno grande, bottiglia d’acqua con bollitore per the. Cialde per un buon caffè nel corridoio. La ragazza cinese nonostante il mio treno fosse in ritardo mi ha aspettato senza problemi. È scesa a prendermi in strada e mi ha accompagnato in camera. Gentilissima

Close to Milan Centrale Train Station. We were early, so the room wasn’t ready yet, but the girl was nice enough to hold our bags till later in the day. The room was comfortable, basic accommodation, and check-in was only staffed half time.

The girl at check in would not let us use our French residence card ID to check-in. She insisted the only acceptable ID was a passport. As residents in the EU, we are not required to travel within Europe with our passports. It was actually their reservation system that was not able to scan or upload our residence cards. that is not acceptable. We were lucky that we were headed to the United States in a week so we happened to have them with us. The girl spoke very little English so it was difficult to explain it to her. I know it’s not her fault, but the hotel management need to update their reservation system to accept IDs that can not be scanned, as they are legal documents. 2nd complaint: price a little steep for such basic accommodations.
