Silk Road

I had a really lovely stay at Silk Road. The venue is simple, but extremely comfortable. Staff was so polite and also helped me, even keeping my luggage for a few hours after check-out and before I headed to the airport.

Maybe at night and morning there is a little bit of rumour, because of the boat movement in Zattere. But that is not related to the place itself, which was extremely comfortable.

The property was a short walk away from the popular tourist spots in the city and right on the water front which was lovely. The room was spacious and had everything I needed with kitchen access and usage. The lady who checked me in was very polite and gave a warm welcome. She also provided me with a map to get around and included a lot of recommendations for attractions, food and drink. I would definitely recommend Sol road for a short stay in Venice

Silk Road is one of those treasures you find only occasionally - perfectly located, with the sound of the water and wonders of Venice right outside the door, this is a peaceful place to sleep with a kind and friendly host for whom nothing is too much trouble

The place was located in front of Giudecca, with a beautiful view of the island. The San Basilio waterbus stop was less than 1 minute walking from there! The person welcoming us was extremely nice.

The furnitures were extremely essential and slightly damaged. The beds were not as comfy as we hoped: the mattresses seemed old, and the rest of the room seemed older. The towels were not included and the kitchen can be used only from 18:00 to 21:00 (and only the microwave).
