L’emplacement est exceptionnel. La vue depuis le rooftop! Le personnel d’une gentillesse… activités quad balade possible avec l’hôtel.
Revoir les salles de bains mais vu le prix c’est plus que correct

The location is perfect for visiting the Pyramids. The view from the terrace is also unique and offers the opportunity to enjoy the light show for free. The staff are very accommodating and helpful and they always provide guests with bottled water. The room had a fridge and hot water.
The mattress was quite uncomfortable, however given the price it was acceptable

Breakfast is a joke, staff are unwelcoming, not professional, bathroom is so tiny in and out is a struggle. The place doesn’t have hotel or guest house standards . Do not trust the reviews

Ottimi tour ben organizzati
Autisti ottimi e guida ( youssef ) molto qualificati, in lingua italiana .

Location is close to pyramid entrance. Great staff.
The area was extremely noisy at all hours. Dogs barking, horses running and people yelling. The shower/toilet was badly maintained and a mouldy mat on the floor stood out for us. There were no hangers or hooks to dry towels properly. No window to the outside though that was probably a good thing as the noise and dust would have been worse .

Walking distance from the pyramids with a good view of the pyramids from the rooftop restaurant.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was very nice.
There is no elevator. To get to the rooftop restaurant on the 5th floor was not so easy for older people as the steps are steep.
My greatest dislike however, was that my reservation was hacked by somebody who contacted me for payment in advance for the two rooms. He had all my details: Full names, address, telephone nr, even my confirmation nr. He sent me messages with the logo of the Guest House on top. Everything seemed legit and I paid in advance $82. After the payment I read that they will never ask me for payment in advance. If you book 25 stay-overs you can not remember all the details and information of each individual apartment or guest house.
The management was aware that everything was not well because the next day I received an e-mail warning me not to pay any money in advance. It was too late. I reported it to Booking.com but they only referred me to the property.
When we arrived at the guest House I again told them about the fraud and they admitted that there was a problem during that time but they have solved it. It is a pity that they did not even offered me a discount or even an excuse.

The staff were friendly and attentive to your needs, providing water bottles and juices etc. Nice views from the roof whilst having breakfast and 5 minute walk to the pyramids. Thanks to Mustafa and Muhammed at reception for their hospitality.
We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom and bedroom overall, the sheets and towels were also not very clean. The Wifi was very poor and did not work both inside or outside our rooms - thankfully we had an Egyptian sim with data to hotspot from. The breakfast was okay for what we had paid but nothing great. Despite the building being located near the Pyramids, it was a shame as there were people constantly haggling you outside and near the area but this comes with the location.
We paid for a deluxe triple room with of the city hoping we would see the pyramids however we did not get a room with the view of the city and instead had it facing the horses and the other side of the road so we were disappointed with this. From my experience, I would advise not to stay here or at any place near the pyramids as with Uber being very cheap it's so much better to stay somewhere Downtown and make your stay more enjoyable. I'm also very confused as to how this place has so many '10' ratings on Bookings.com as I can assure you this is very misleading...

So this place is an example of “you get what you pay for”. Was it amazing? No. But it was great for the price. You do have a spectacular view of the pyramids from the roof and you can see the light show very well. The rooms were clean and exactly as advertised. The staff was nice, but this is Egypt so it does feel a bit like they’re being nice to you only to get tips.
Cairo in general is rough, Giza is extra rough. The street this hotel is on is… particularly rough. If you are a female traveler (especially European/blonde) you will get harassed the second you leave the hotel. The whole area is full of people and shops that are trying to scam you or just generally bother you. The street is also where people keep their horses and the majority of them were in terrible condition, which could be hard for animal lovers. However, I know none of this is the fault of the hotel. We didn’t find anything wrong with the actual hotel, just the location. Sure, the pyramids are right there but at what cost?

The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was very comfortable.
The food at the rooftop cafe was slow and the cheese pizza was not good.

The view is by far the most valuable thing about this accommodation. The staff is super helpful and kind.
The bed is not very comfortable and the bathroom is a bit small and some things looked dingy. The hotel is super clean but the stairs and access not so much. I found links with greater comfort for less value.

- Made Breakfast-Package because I had to leave early.
- Staff didn't ask for money
- Facility was clean
- Good view of the pyramids from the roof top
- Could pay by debit card
- Good enough English
- Free water
- Bed sheets where stinking disgustingly after perfumed cleaner.Gave me a headacke. Made it almost impossible for me to sleep
- Construction / renovation work was irritating
- Keys to the room where a pain to work with
- Window was accessible from the outside and also could be opened from the outside. No way to lock it because it was somehow brojen. It also didn't isolate at all. Pretty noisy. Was waking up all the time do to noise all night. At dawn birds started to lick the morning dew from the window. Could not get rid of them. No more sleep possible
- Door wasn't isolating either. Lots of noise from the stairway
- Could hear toilet flushing in the walls all night

What a pleasant surprise to book here originally on price point and proximity to Gaza's pyramids and Sphinx.
I was treated like a king and spoiled beyond all expectations.
I arrived six hours early due to a red-eye flight. They saw I was tired and for such a small fee made room for me in a pyramid facing room.
The guesthouse was being renovated beautifully and fresh rooms were almost ready for new guests. Great value for location.
The view from rooftop restaurant/bar can't be beat.
Every employee was aiming to please and helpful.
Egypt is great value, and has great potential in future with places like this.
Just ask, Horus Guesthouse will help.
Please note, that those with mobility issues might have to take care on steep stairs, but I managed very well, and luggage is brought to room immediately. There is no elevator.
Don't let that stop anyone, as I didn't see any other hotel this close to Egypt's main attraction with elevators.
The Guesthouse is more a hotel than anything else with 24/7 reception and services.
Plenty of hot water, new beds, great air conditioning.
Then the price point is excellent.
I will be back
The area is in transition and very authentic with camel and horses right outside on street.
I appreciated it. Some may not.
