Stayed many times, one of the reasons is that it has parking. Unfortunately they are now using this space to put more outside tables, only choice is to pay for parking on public car park. Not happy as I wasn’t informed before my arrival.

Brilliant stay - cheap price with clean room and friendly staff

Easily accessible, very friendly, warm, clean room and very quiet considering it is inside a busy pub. Dinner and breakfast were good at a very reasonable price - as usual at a Wetherspoons. Pleasant atmosphere inside the pub and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Access from the room into the pub as you had to go outside and back through the main door from the street.

Ordered breakfast, waited 20/25 mins only to be told there had been a problem with our order and that we would have to wait a further 20 mins or cancel. We were leaving at a certain time so a further wait was not an option. Very disappointing

The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff all nice, pleasant.it is great value for money. Had breakfast twice.

Problem with horrendous smell in room caused by drain vents. Room 204.( Apparently 101 is the same). Staff knew about the problem. It is ongoing. I was in that room for 4 days, with no offer of change of room. No offer of discount. I blocked drain with towel.preventing the smell. There is no problem with the cleanliness. It is the drain vent.The first night, I had the extractor fan running all night. The first person I spoke to pretended they didn't know about the problem......all the staff agreed it horrible and worse when it rains.....they all knew about it.

food was good, though there were no sausages on Sunday which seeing there were two super markets just around the corner shouldn,t be.

seeing i paid over 100 pound the least i expect is adequate wifi, couldn,t even get a football score let alone emails.

Room very clean, bed comfortable, great extras in the bathroom. Liked having water bottles and extra pillows.

Room was warm so windows were open, was woken very early by traffic (bin lorries). Would have been helpful to order food to the room
