good location, easy to find and close to bus route
bag of vomit in lift when we arrived. Bed leg was broken - hotel staff fixed by putting a ream of paper underneath to prop it up

I like most the cooperative stuff
The roads leading to the hotel from bus or train station is dark and scary at night in addition to the absence of any sign boards along the hotel way.

Free Red bus just around the corner is great. Food was great. It was comfortable.
Fluttering noise in bathroom every time I entered. There was ambiguity about the coffee - was espresso free or do you have to pay extra?

Great view from the room, the convenience of a cafe in the lobby and very well run.
A shower that took ages to get hot water and was difficult to adjust with temperature settings constantly under or over shooting the desired temperature. Very little options for proper cooked café breakfast or evening dining at a pub anywhere in the area and no guest parking.

Reception staff good but often not available - more staff in this area required.
Breakfast very good but again more help required - on Sunday morning in particular it was very understaffed and difficult to get any service.

If you want to compete with other similar hotels nearby you must resist the temptation to reduce staff hours - in hospitality in particular it is quickly noticed by guests and other venues chosen.

There is no onsite car parking. Free street car parking is limited to before 8am and after 6pm.

The night porter was on asked for my ID so I gave him my non Australian license and he told me because they sell alcohol on the premises he might not be able to check me in .
I told him that the licence is excepted everywhere in Australia and you won't accept it and let me go to my room ?

Room wad clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and beds were really comfy.
Breakfast was really good, cooked to order.
We could have been closer to the CBD, but the area was quiet and within walking distance to transit. Only a 15 minute walk to main shopping and restaurants

Laundry charges were external to the motel and were quite expensive.

The room was very clean and spacious, the gym was awesome.
Our aircon turned off in the middle of the evening, and the staff could not fix the issue in the duration of our 8 day stay. The lack of aircon overnight made it hard for us to sleep well. Also, the new fancy wooden keys didn't fit in the slot in the room, so we had to use a transit pass from a different city to turn on the lights.
