We selected this hotel as we were making a 12h drive and this area was half way. Rasttat is a very nice small town with a pedestrian centre and plenty of restaurant options. The Ibis is very clean and modern with plenty of on street parking. The deco does not quite live up to the Ibis Style brand (it feels more like a novotel) but it was good value. Nothing to fault them on.

Rooms are small but very well appointed for short stays. Bathroom with good size shower very practical. Location close to castle excellent if there for sightseeing.
After our planned one night stay, decided to stay an another night. Had to change rooms. Request for room on quiet side, not facing road couldn't be met. Breakfast buffet selection very adequate whilst lay out awkward to navigate when many guests. Oddly TV sets in both rooms did not work properly. Would switch on and off randomly. Had to unplug.

Great value for money. Easy to get to Baden Baden on public transport. Good breakfast.
Parking was 20 euro extra in hotel car park.. might be cheaper to park in public car park opposite.

Perfect stop for a nighy
We couldn’t use the parking lot because we didn’t reserve it. But this was not mentioned during the booking, therefore we had to leave our car with all the luggages inside in the public parking spot, and we had to pay for it. On top of that, the breakfast was very basic, the food was not enough for all the crowd and we couldn’t even find a spot to seat, but still we had to pay an high price for it.
