Amazing location with nice and friendly staff

The windows were a bit thin and you could hear the people outside and especially the mosque speakers when prayer time was on

La struttura è molto bella e scenografica, e la nostra camera Superior era ampia, spaziosa e fresca grazie all’aria condizionata. Colazioni super, ogni mattina diverse e servite al tavolo. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato in tutto, in particolare Abdo è stato davvero super gentile e disponibile. Ci hanno anche organizzato il transfer per l’aeroporto alle 5 del mattino, preparandoci la colazione d’asporto. Molto utile anche la mappa con i principali punti di interesse della città. E una menzione speciale ai tre gattini, dolcissimi e divertenti, che girano per il Riad! Consigliatissimo.

This is a wonderful place to stay with outstanding people staffing it. We were here for two weeks and absolutely loved every aspect of it. On first arrival, the streets can seem a little twisting and bare but that is just the outside and one soon gets used to moving around the medina, which feels entirely safe at all times, with helpful and pleasant locals. Once you go through the doors to the riad, you move back in time and experience the most exquisitely restful and peaceful dwelling which soon begins to feel like home. The service is second to none and every single person goes out of their way to make you feel at home. The reception staff, the cooks, the waiters, the gardeners: all are hugely impressive. Abdul who runs the hotel helped us so much with the essential e-sim for Google maps and other contact as well as general advice on trips and shopping and where to eat. Azziz, Mouad, Mohammad and Amin were also full of gracious hospitality and kindness. Nadia, who often served the outstanding hotel dinners and breakfasts was full of kindness, with a gentle and noble spirit. We did so much round the city and in day trips. This was a wonderful holiday and an outstanding place to stay.

Lovely old building nicely restored . The plunge pool was great after a hot day or morning exploring.

We ordered a mint tea and they gave us a large pot and 4 glasses . 2 adults , a 7&3 year old. Upon checking out the charged us for 4 teas at 30D each so almost 12USD. When we queried it they were unable to explain why we were not charged for a pot . We were in a hurry so paid but felt cheated by this . Towels were pretty old and tatty in the bathroom and need replacing. Breakfast is far two basic , a few bread and jams and that’s it.
