Prachtige plek bij super lieve mensen. We voelden ons thuis en zijn zeer hartelijk ontvangen door José en zijn vrouw. De zoon des huizes is taxichauffeur en heeft ons verschillende keren gevoerd, altijd heel stipt. Het appartement is basic maar je hebt alles wat je nodig hebt. De tuin staat vol prachtige planten. Het eiland was onze favoriet op de Azoren!!

Ubicación, trato de los dueños genial, muy amables y serviciales. Casa muy amplia y limpia.
Las cortinas, deberían ser algo más oscuras, entraba mucha luz, cafetera de filtro, un pelín antiguo, aunque totalmente servicial todo.

Jose and family were very friendly and accommodating in their working home and garden. Great location, just up the street from an excellent natural swimming pool and trail, good food, and close to the airport and ferry. The accommodations are very functional for overnighting, and as a base camp for launching off into island adventures.
While a very functional accommodation in a great location, it is not designed for "hanging out" inside. There is no AC and the kitchen acts as a place for a couch to sit, but not to comfortably "hang out" after a day of adventure. Bedrooms are the place to rest apart, not the couch. Great base camp to live out of. If planning to cook, one would need to buy just about everything, there was very little basic staples with which to work except coffee and tea.
