Bukhara Baraka Boutique Hotel

The property is close to all the historic sites and easily walkable. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was warm and welcoming.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Bukhara Baraka Boutique Hotel. The biggest highlight for us was the excellent location. It is ideally placed for exploring Bukhara on foot, and we found that we really did not need to take taxis for the main sights, restaurants and historic areas because everything was within comfortable walking distance. The rooms were comfortable and gave us a good place to relax after sightseeing. The staff were also friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, it was a very convenient and comfortable base for exploring Bukhara, and I would definitely recommend it to travellers who want to stay close to the main attractions.

Near the old town but not inside

Location, location. The hotel is just steps from the pedestrian zone and entrance to historic Bukhara, Proximate to multiple restaurants. Room was quiet, beds comfortable, reasonably spacious, clean.

The "Hotel" is a misnomer. It is really a guest house, operated entirely by the extended family that lives on premises. The family uses and their children play in the central courtyard. Older children take their shifts at the "reception". Alas, little English or European language capability. The family is welcoming but communication is limited to "hello" / "goodbye". Breakfast is mediocre: warm dishes are typically cold, offerings are limited and often not replenished. Overall, the guest house is decent. But we would not stay again.
