the room was large and very comfortable, lovely toiletries in the shower room and all kitchen facilities we needed. very nicely and sensitively decorated to fit in with the beautiful surroundings too.

An amazing set up in the Simondium area! Perfect for families and those without children. We had a two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for all we needed. The host personally met us and ensured we were settled in. The rooms were clean, comfortable and contained all we needed for the two days we were there. The clever option of being able to cook on the gas or wood braid was brilliant during load shedding. Located right next to a small dam where you can fish or take a row boat out. Stunning views out to the mountains made for beautiful sunsets and sunrises. You can also take a croc tour or visit the snake house whilst staying. We didn't have time to eat at the restaurant but all the facilities are there should you want them. Would definitely stay again in the future. The host is so passionate which was just super to see!

The property is conveniently located near a lot of the popular wine farms and a relatively close drive to Franschhoek and Paarl. There is a large dam with bass fishing available and beautiful views. The units have everything you need and they are clean. Alzette is a great host and does her best to ensure you enjoy your stay, even providing extra ‘load shedding friendly’ lighting. If you have kids there is a reptile park on the grounds which is something fun for the whole family.
