Nick and Monique very helpful, friendly hosts. We were the only guests, with a very nice, spacious room and our own patio. Plenty of good toiletries, Exceptionally good evening meal, and good breakfast: fruit, cereals, juice, hot cooked meal,, toast, tea or coffee. The property was difficult for us to access without a 4-wheel drive vehicle, following heavy rains. But once there, we wre amazed by the location and views, the bird-life. and being able to see stars and constellations which we rarely, if ever, see We loved hearing about the experiences of our hosts and their education work as regards wildlife and conservation. We'd planned to do the Battlefields Tour starting at Rorke's Drift the following morning, but couldn't get there from Elandsview in our car due to the road conditions. However, the location was great for getting to towns such as Dundee and Ladysmith where we could access museums and centres which gave us lots of information.

Peaceful and tranquil, lovely informative people. Very remote location, traveling partially on approx 20km of dirt road to approach the location, would recommend a 4x4 vehicle for this area around Rourke's Drift.

The access roads , about 20km of dirt road each way, you really need to have a 4x4 vehicle to travel this vacinity , which we were fortunate to have.

Beautiful location, very friendly and helpful people, lovely room.

The Manager William, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. After breakfast he took us on a tour of the church in the area. The bedroom was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the view from the room was fantastic, Dinner was offered as an optional extra - it was reasonably priced and very tasty home-cooked food . However we had to travel a few minutes down the road to his other establishment - although that really wasnt a problem. It was raining when we arrived for dinner and we were escorted to the dining room with an umbrella
