We are indeed pleased with our stay at the hotel, with everything being as it should for a hotel of such quality, aspecially the wellness and spa centre.

only thing I didn’t like was noise from restaurant early in the morning, room placed under resturant.

Nice hotel, great reception staff, comfy bed, nice rooms, nice pool and area around it, nice breakfast, and OK location if you have a car.. But also walkable to Solin restaurants, and even Split, if a 60min walk is fine for you.

Most things were good or great. The one thing which was not good, was housekeeping quality. I recommend the hotel admin team discuss quality standards with their housekeeping team. When we arrived, housekeeping had done such a subpar job in our room, to the point there were actual serious health hazards, which I took pictures of and fixed myself. Won't go into details, since the reception sincerely apologized and made it up to us. But housekeeping quality the next few days wasn't exactly up to par, either. That didn't spoil our experience completely, but 1h taking care of something unpleasant and dangerous upon our arrival after midnight wasn't fun.

We are a couple in our 40’s. We spent 5 days in Split which was an active holiday with outings everyday so to finish off our trip we decided to have a relaxing stay for 4 days at the Hotel Salona Palace and it did not disappoint. We arrived a little early for check in and the lady and reception welcomed us, advised we could leave our bags at reception and make use of the facilities while we wait for our room. So we headed to the pool level, collected a towel each and hit the loungers by the pool. We weren’t waiting long as within the hour our room was ready. We stayed in a room on the second floor facing the pool with a balcony. The room was of good size and the balcony was of a good size with a table and two chairs. The room was above the outdoor restaurant and we heard no noise at any time day or night. The pool area is well laid out. There are loungers in the shade and full sun, whichever you prefer. There is lovely background music which isn’t intrusive. The spa staff are always there and if they need to leave, will leave a couple of towels should anyone pop by for some. The pool is cold which is welcoming on a hot hot day. The jacuzzi is warm which is lovely when the evening gets cool. Now for the best part of our stay! The restaurant. Our days consisted of eating, lounging by the pool reading our books and swimming. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the outdoor restaurant. The two gentle men working in the restaurant were fantastic. The gentleman in the morning always greeted us with a smile and was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Alway close by if you needed to order a drink. The gentleman in the evening (dark hair and beard) was so friendly. Even when the busy evening meal time came around and he was visibly busy, he was always polite, attentive and positive. Both men seemed happy in their work which makes for a relaxing enjoyable atmosphere. If you are considering staying in Hotel Salona Palace, do it! You won’t regret it.

location, view, staff support and help.staff was helpful to move to another room which was clean and better. good food at dinner and breakfast with helpful and friendly waiting staff. once loved to another room experience completely different and improved.

first room was dirty, floor carpet was stained, horrible dirty brown stains Al over the shower wall! only 1 electric socket working. lamp not working. towel hanger broken and falling off the wall. dirty smudges on the wall. absolutely uncomfortable and filthy. told the hotel the feedback.

Hotel is located in a quiet area outside Split. You will need a taxi which can be arranged by the hotel if heading into town. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for. Hotel restaurant serving great food although a little pricy but expected from hotel. Breakfast was great too, lots to choose from. Reception staff were very helpful with arranging excursions.

Unfortunately quite a few wasps around the pool but they don't seem to bother you.

The room was very comfortable, the in-house restaurant was

nothing!

Location was nice and peaceful , hotel had all needed facilities for fun and relaxation .

Jacouzi was having flies but no other complaints. Prices were little high for cost of living in Croatia.

Breakfast and staff were fantastic
