Poseidon Resort

I loved this place. It’s very secluded, if you’re after the proper island experience then this is it. If you want somewhere in the middle of the hustle and bustle then this might not be for you. The rooms feel like they are in the middle of the jungle. Huge room with a balcony with my own hammock, huge bed. The restaurant of the hotel is practically on the beach, amazing views, the food was great and all the staff were lovely. IF you ask, they give you the details of their driver for a free shuttle to and from the port (which can be quite expensive otherwise as there’s no Grab on the island) The beach is lovely and big, plenty of space to lay on the sand. Some amazing (conditions allowing) snorkelling though it’s very rocky so it wouldn’t work for people who don’t want to dive or snorkel and prefer to swim/play around in the water.

The bathroom wasn’t as nice though perfectly functional. The shower water took a while to drain. Despite the fact that it says the rooms get cleaned every two days, I stayed three nights and mine didn’t get cleaned (though not a major issue as it wasn’t exactly dirty).

The standard room with balcony exceeded my expectations. Windows all around with views of the bright flowering trees. Air-conditioning! (Which I didn't know about). It was very clean. And I appreciated the kettle and fridge, and the free water refills. And of course, steps from Tanote Bay was the big draw.

Not much, I would have liked to have tried the restaurant, but it closed at 5pm each day, so I was never around for it. The road down to Tanote Bay is a bit intimidating on a scooter at first (first time rider here) but I got used to it petty quick.

The location is on the quitte side of the island. You can snorkeling from the beach. Friendly staff.

Accommodation is lot simpler.then the photo's show. Breakfast was just ok. Lot of peoplevisit this place just for the day,
