Staff very friendly. Lovely comfy bed. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits supplied.
Through no fault of Lucy's Tearoom, the room I booked was in the courtyard up a very steep flight of stairs, with bathroom and bedroom directly at the top to the left and right. My Husband has Vascula Dementia and Alzheimer's, so I was awake all night each time he got out of bed in case he fell down the stairs. You have to go through the locked tea room at night, using various keys to gain access to the street outside. Being old we decided to stay in our room!
Perfect place to stay had our health circumstances been different. Fantastic, welcoming staff, gorgeous food and cakes!
Was our fault not theirs.

Location, breakfast and the room was lovely. And that we could have it for one night when many locally only did 2.
I wasn't expecting this but a bigger bed of there's room is always nice. Saying that, I found the bed really comfy. I think for the size and price, it was the perfect configuration of the room. Nice bathroom.and courtyard too.

Perfect location in the centre of Stow, easily reachable from Kingham station thanks to the Pulham bus and even without a bus.
The owners were very welcoming, gave us some good advice to move around the Cotswolds and even kept our luggage before and after the night.
For some reason we weren't able to open the window in our bedroom. The door could still be opened to ventilate the room but it was just a little unpractical detail.

Lucy's café is a Fantastic hidden gem run by Tasha and Frankie, We would recommend this as an ideal place to stay when visiting the Cotswolds. The staff are excellent especially Chloe who is a credit to Lucy's café , The breakfast is wonderful and is up there being one of the best we have ever had. The room was clean and had all what we needed and was also very quiet which gave us a good nights sleep. Thank you for a lovely stay we will tell all our family and friends about you.

The location is fabulous. Right on the square. Parking is pretty good. There are restrictions in place from 9am to 6pm which means you have to move the car by 11am but there is more parking around the corner by Tescos which is convenient enough. The bed was super comfy and we had plenty of tea and coffee making facilities each day, with some cake (a lovely touch). The breakfast was delicious and the staff in the Tea Room were very friendly and accommodating.
Personal preference would be a bath, the shower is very small, but still adequate for a day or two’s stay. If you are larger person, you may struggle a little with the shower.
It is very easy to hear others in neighbouring room. One evening we had noisy guests, the next not so much.
There are steep stairs to get to your room. Not a problem for us, but could be a problem for those who struggle with steps.

Lucy’s tearoom is in amazing position. Everything you’d like to visit is just at short walking distance from the hotel.
We spent there 1 night. The staff was kind and gentle since the first moment providing suggestions and useful info.
The room, located in the inner tea-garden. was cosy, clean and well furnished. The only negative aspect is that it was humid and therefore a little bit cold wug some smell of damp (we had to switch the de-humidifier and the heater on during the night)
The breakfast was ok: selection of cereals, yogurt, toasted bread, jams and marmalade. The full British breakfast was also available.
The after tea served with cream tea and scones is simply unique!! A must to do! (Not included in the breakfast).
Recommend!!
The humidity and the smell of damp in the room

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast superb choice and tasty. Location central and parking just outside.
Stairs to upper room could be challenging if there were mobility issues, but were no problem to us. Otherwise very very little to dislike

the old house, the room with all facilities we asked for
breakfast is served a bit late but we understand this is because the opening hours of the tea room is 10am.
