Hotel Sorrento

Hotel was very well located with walkable access to shops, cafes and restaurants. Room was modern and very comfortable. Very good breakfast included in restaurant with water views. Pool looked great but weather during our stay prevented use. Parking was no problem next to room.

Having to walk outside in the rain to get from room to the restaurant / reception.

Breakfast staff not friendly didn’t explain where anything was, had to pay extra for a coffee! Staff didn’t tell us to help ourselves to tea and coffee! One course and you had to pay extra if you wanted fruit etc, breakfast scanty in comparison to anywhere I have stayed!

The whole breakfast experience

Bed was so comfortable, spacious room, the dining restaurant was fantastic. Large meals for the price and quality. Water pressure, vibe, views

The style of the hotel and view was lovely but not much else was enjoyable for our stay.

Apparently they upgraded us but the room was directly over the bar on a Friday and Saturday which meant we had no quiet, beach view but window was broken so could not open it, when you showered the bathroom would flood and the toilet roll holder was broken also, had to take 3 sets of stairs to reach room with an elderly mother when the area I booked had an elevator and had to walk through a bar and restaurant to get to pool area in bathers. Only 5 options for breakfast that were hardly appealing. Hardly an upgrade and for the price pretty disappointing.
