Great breakfast, good coffee, cheerful staff, the evening meals were also good.
In some hotels, the butter on the toast is the breakfast highlight, but not here, although the butter was excellent. Poached haddock was superb, as were the eggs and bacon. Best breakfasts in mid-Wales.
My room was old fashioned in a good way, characterful and comfortable.
Next time you upgrade, please install a slightly larger TV, but please don't modernise the furniture and fittings.
If you use my ratings and comments, please don't use my name. Thanks
I liked everything.

Clean comfortable room and good free parking
Property whilst clean is looking tired

Great local pub / hotel. Lovely in evenings. Good breakfast. Room reminded of creepy TV show Widow's Bay... take that as a good thing.
Quite dated rooms, and bathroom wasn't in greatest condition. Seemed a touch on pricier end.

Location in town centre. Lots of history and character. Friendly, helpful staff.
A little run down and tatty overall. Very ordinary bathroom suite and furnishings in the room. Needs an overhaul and modernisation of facilities.
