Very friendly staff, especially Amy, who very kindly picked me up from about 5 miles away where my walk finished, helped me arrange a taxi back the next morning, and left breakfast for me to eat early. Evening meal was lovely.

Older style rooms were very quiet and comfortable staff very friendly and breakfast had all sorts available

location
the breakfast room was cramped everywhere had spiders I counted 26 in the breakfast room
the room had a damp cellar smell and the extractor for the bathroom was really load
the bedside lamps where damaged and the wall paper was pealing in places and the chandelier was covered in dust
over all could have been nicer
