Awesome hotel and awesome location. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms were great. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future.

The parking was an issue as there was no parks left in the hotel car park. This meant we had to juggle the wilsons carpark across the road.

I was comfortable and felt safe as i was travelling on my own. Had a meeting on the Friday morning with a couple of colleagues. The staff were happy for us to use the lounge bar and bought us our coffees. Thank you

A friendly welcome and fast check in and out. Enjoyed an overnight stay and will definitely stay again. Nice and warm with fire in the downstairs bar on a winters evening.

The room was a good size and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The bathroom was also a great size. Loved the window seat and the TV was huge too.

The shower was small and it leaked all over the floor despite the door being closed.

After 2 weeks travelling South Island in a campervan we craved some luxury and comfort. This was perfect for us !

upon asking for a late check out for Sunday on Saturday night the gentleman at the desk told me flat out that there was no availability for a late check out. Never asked for room number to even check. Sunday morning I asked a lady at the front desk for the option of a late check out and she asked for my room number and was able to give me an extra hour to check out at 12pm. Bar downstairs needs to be properly managed in the day to accomodate guests wanting to use the facility.

Location was great, room was modern with a beautiful bathroom ( when we finally got into )

Arriving at 3 pm to check in ,collecting room key, and walking into our room to find we had two single beds rather than the king we requested. I'm aware that bed configuration can't be guaranteed, but it wasn't even mentioned during check-in that our bed configuration was 2 singles. Upon return to reception we was told we could have a room with a king bed as there was one available but they were short staffed and they couldn't say when housekeeping would get round to making it up. No apology, no sorry for the wait, just distain from the reception staff. Eventually, we got into the room at 4.45pm. The breakfast buffet in the morning was pleasant, but most of the cooked food was unavailable as restocking it seemed delayed and uncoordinated, and I wouldn't have it again.
