The quirky feel and history of the place
Good breakfast to set you up for the day.
The sound from the bar below on the Saturday night however it closed at 11.00pm so ok for us.

Clean and spacious room, great location with free parking nearby. Comfortable bed and room. The set up in the pub and restaurant is really good. Staff were excellent, all very pleasant and helpful, Chris particularly so. The location is really good, central and right next to the castle. Really surprised how quiet it was as you are on the main road.
Nothing, it suited what we needed and made our stay excellent.

Location was great, really close to the centre. Room was quiet (apart from bathroom fan)
Bathroom had bad drain smell and bath fan was very loud and long. Mattress wasn’t the comfiest for us personally and the bed frame was very oddly shaped for the space, we kept stubbing toes and couldn’t lean back against the headboard for reading before bed ect.
Breakfast was standard chain breakfast, nice but nothing to write home about.
