The hotel was lovely. Perfect for our family with the pool and directly on the beach. The decor was stylish. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. The family room had 2 big beds so our 3 children could share.

This hotel is great in a quiet area of hikkaduwa. It is a 5 min tuk tuk (500rs) from the main area though if you want more bars and cafes.

Der Strand und die Aussicht vom Balkon auf das Meer waren sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Der Pool war gut.

Es war sehr schmutzig. Ein paar Beispiele: Unser Zimmer bei der Ankunft war so nicht hinnehmbar. Da lagen Haarbüschel von den letzten Gästen, die Toilette war komplett braun, auf dem Sideboard waren Kaffeeflecken vom Vorgänger. Es wurde dann versucht mit dem Alter der Einrichtung zu argumentieren. Die Damen von der Rezeption hat dann einen „Deep clean“ angeboten, was wir angenommen haben. Danach war es ok und siehe da, die Toilette war weiß. Ich hab mich so geekelt. Die Dusche ist ziemlich schimmelig. Wir haben einmal dort zu Mittag gegessen. Da war dann ein Stück Verpackung im Essen. Beim Frühstück (das nicht sehr abwechslungsreich ist) hatte ich einen Obstteller mit Haar. Eine Kakerlake lag den halben Tag auf der Treppe, die zur Bar ins Erdgeschoss führt. Die wurde dann schon von hunderten Ameisen umzingelt. Wir haben kein einziges sauberes Handtuch bekommen. Uns wurde gesagt, dass sie gewaschen sind, aber fleckig waren sie alle. Die Besitzer des Hotels sind irgendwie unsympathisch (was natürlich rein subjektiv ist) Man wird als Gast nicht mal gegrüßt. Was man vor dem Aufenthalt wissen sollte: man kann dort nicht ins Meer, weil es zu wild ist. Weiter nördlich, am Turtle Beach geht das aber. Das ist ca 5 Minuten mit dem Tuktuk entfernt.

The one thing we were very disappointed about was the cleanliness of the bathroom towel linen… even though they were replaced daily, they were grubby & stained.

I really liked staying at this hotel! It's right by the beach, so I could easily go for a swim and enjoy the waves. The pool was nice and clean(3ft-5.6ft), perfect for a relaxing day under the sun. Overall, a great place for a beach getaway with a cool pool to chill in!

The breakfast was quite basic, and it didn't change for all three days. It would be nice to have more variety. Also, having no Wi-Fi in the room was a bit inconvenient; it would be great if they could add that for guests who need to stay connected.

Lovely staff, great location and a lot of privacy. We as a family felt very welcome by the staff.

Only recommendation would be that the toilet seat and bed sheets could have been cleaner or renewed.
