Villa was perfect! Beautiful inside and out with amazing views. Local restaurants, pubs and supermarkets just a 4 minute walk and beach a walkable distance too. Locals lovely! Perfect location and great communication with the owner throughout the week we stayed. Air conditioning in every room which was a God send! Kitchen facilities top notch. Pool was just right for our family of 4. WiFi great. Villa Dionysos made our holiday perfect!

House was spotless, beautiful. Location was brilliant - nice and quiet but easy to walk to restaurants and local supermarket. Host and cleaning ladies were super helpful

The beds in the connecting room were very uncomfortable. No WiFi for a lot of the stay. There are cameras in rooms including the bedrooms!!! The owner asked for €800 deposit via Iban despite what it says on the website and promptly kept €300 as we checked out a couple of hours late despite the cleaner saying we could stay until 3! Such a shame this marred our holiday, the Cretans have been so lovely and friendly but this host has left a bad taste.

Great location minutes walk away from Plaka village. Two supermarkets and several tavernas in the village which means you don't really need a car. Villa very stylish and comfortable.

A lovely part of Crete, a nice house and pool but the host knows why this review is rated as such. Based on my comment that on our arrival, our car scraped the uneven cement approaching the gate, he then proceeds to accuse us of damaging the gate rail that worked all week whilst we were there. This gate was also used by 2 of his employees and no comment (about us damaging it) from them all week. We then receive via email a photo of metalwork set within the cement and accusations that our car caused it to be crooked. A bill of €380 was given and now our €300 deposit will not be returned to us. When we were at the villa, we were told that by another person that they also scraped this cement driveway, but conveniently it's just us (the most recent guests) that have to forfeit our €300 deposit. We had 100's of millipedes and woodlouse in the damp bathroom which crawled into the kitchen every day - squashed through our feet, our towels and any clothes left on the ground, even found several dead ones in the crockery cupboard. All denied & my comments questioned due to the hosts' ''very high hygiene standards''. A dead rat in the pool (which traumatised our daughter & she would not use the pool again) - defended by the 'nature' of the place. I will expect a reply here now from the owner defending his actions and he will proceed with a negative review of us being difficult & hostile. Yes, we do have a sour taste after this, which has influenced our review score.
