I loved my stay here. It was a beautiful little lodge in Suginohara.
The hosts were fantastic. It was such a nice and cozy place to stay.

My second visit here. I love this place and the genuine, traditional feel of the property. The location nearby the Suginohara ski resort is perfect and although the town site is small, there are enough options around the little village to make this a perfect stay for the person who seeks authentic culture and peace instead of the busier resort/town feel. The hotel owners are so hospitable, welcoming and accommodating and are happy to use the app translators. The amenities are pretty typical Japanese guest house style and the hot tub bath at the end of a busy snow day is sublime.
