This place is a real gem. The accommodation was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. The host was very welcoming and extremely helpful. The safari tour exceeded all. It was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Also it is very close to national park and they can organize everything for you to get there! Highly recommended!

The property was in the midst of nature and the staff, especially the manager Madhu were extremely sweet and accomodating. Note: It gets really dark outside at night as there aren't too many artificial lights (which is great to see the stars), make sure you carry a torch.

Gaga Bees was incredible! We stayed for one night before a days safari in Udawalawe National Park. On arrival to Gaga Bees we met our host, he was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us welcome drinks/snacks. Our host showed us to our room as well as gave us a tour around the camp and walked us to the River. The room was amazing, far beyond our expectations. It was very spacious, immaculately clean, huge bed, the wifi was excellent and the room had all the amenities you could need, the bathroom was also a great size and lots of hot water. We sat out on our decking looking out onto the peaceful and beautiful camp, we even tried out the hammocks they have dotted around! The dinner was also incredible, our host had asked what time we wanted to eat and then had dinner ready! We had a three courses, the Sri-Lankan curry's we had for our main were beautiful. Our host also made us a breakfast pack up for the morning as we were heading out very early. Our host was definitely the most friendly and attentive host we had in Sri-Lanka! We also met the manager the next day who was very good, we told him how much we loved our stay and he could not have been happier. Gaga bee's really do make sure their customers have a great stay! Out of all of the hotels we stayed during our travels around Sri-Lanka, Gaga bees was our favourite! We went as a couple and loved it, this would also be perfect for families or friends.
