Welcomed by the owner who was sorting out the firewood. Superb combination of pub, restaurant and hotel. After a day of walking we enjoyed our pint and diner in the pub area together with some locals passing by. Great room and facilities. If you are walking don't forget to visit the local shop as it is the only one you will find for the next 2 days

We were surprised that the breakfast was self-service with no staff available. What was provided was ok.
The room was comfortable, with a sizeable bathroom which was funny for being so old-fashioned but in a nice way.
We had an evening meal when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpful but the quality of the food left a lot to be desired. 2 lots of fish, basically overcooked and dry.
No natural yogurt with the breakfast. This is a common and poor fault, especially given the lack of a cooked breakfast.
