Canal House The Tannery Amsterdam

The location was perfect to walk everywhere ! We loved the canal outlook and the large comfy bed in a gorgeous sunny and spacious room. Roeland our host was really helpful.

Lots of stairs to access the top floor , we are fit so not a problem 😃

The apartment is situated in amazing location, within walking distance to everything. The check in process and communication with host was easy. Getting to the apartment is really is easy from the airport with a direct bus and drop off around the corner. The only downsides to the apartment is that it's on the 4th floor with a very steep staircase. Also, the bathroom was very small.

It’s a spacious, beautiful room with nice amenities. The location is perfect! Roeland is super kind and helpful.

The location is fantastic. You walk out of the door and you are immediately in the heart of the Jordaan, with loads of cafes, bars and shops to visit. A canal runs along the front of the house, and the area is bustling during the day, but pretty quiet at night - the perfect balance. We were in the Bird Room, on the top floor. It's a beautiful, spacious room and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The little touches, such as a stocked mini bar and daily refills of good quality tea and coffee were very much appreciated. Roeland, the host, was absolutely brilliant. Very responsive, helpful, and full of recommendations for food, boat trips etc. We couldn't fault him in any way, and he's super friendly.

The only slightly negative things which I can say are that the stairs to the room are very steep. We didn't quite anticipate this, not having stayed in a narrow canal house before, but we quickly got used to them. And the bathroom is tiny (but stylish and completely workable), but apparently this is also normal for a canal house.
