Amistad hotel

The breakfast was amazing each morning! Such a wonderful stay - great location and it felt like we were dining in someone’s kitchen each morning!

Well situated and very good breakfast

No elevator with our room on the third floor. Margo and Drew were friendly and nice. The man who was there for breakfast on the last day was not friendly. We went at 7:45 am to get coffee because we needed to leave the hotel by 8:30 am to make it to the bus station. He made it clear he was setting up. We sat by the window and got our coffee. We didn’t bother him nor asked him for anything because he was setting up. When he had finished setting up at 8:00 am he repeated we had come when the area was closed. I said, but we sat by the window and didn’t bother you. Again he said the place was closed until 8:00 am. Margo had told me we could have coffee at anytime. Unnecessary this man making us feel unwelcome.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. We were arriving late so they sent very clear arrival and self check-in instructions. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was easy to find from Central station and well placed for tourist destinations. The breakfast was freshly cooked and wonderful - best pancakes we had on the whole trip! I also appreciated that there were hot drinks available 24/7.

The problem is the noise from the street, cars and trucks and people parting on the street until 3AM
