If you come here to only do yoga I think this is the place for you to be. They offer tons of great yoga classes throughout the day, taking place in very serene, zen accommodations throughout the resort. If yoga isn’t you main reason to come here, read my dislikes about this place….

I actually don’t know where to start. First of all I have to be clear about my reason to visit Udara; it was a spontaneous booking, I didn’t book this for yoga- classes but just for some peace of mind, but this was already weird, according to booking.com my 2-day stay would be €200,- instead of €940,- and I would get a 35 m2 room. I got a very very small room, and it felt like this aquarium in a zoo. My front huge windows were overlooking the inside pool-area, which meant that with my curtains open I would feel like this animal being watched; nonstop people walked by and could see me The outside of my room was a bathroom, no sitting- area, and outside there was this loud noise from construction work. Nonstop during the day. The wifi connection was terrible. In the evening I decided to go for a swim. And this freaked the hell out of me! The whole swimming area, with its so called ‘relaxing caves’ etcetera, felt like a (scary!) Disney-world attraction. Kids would maybe like this, unfortunately they are not allowed. This whole resort was very dark and uncomfortable. The reason I am making effort to write this review is because I wished I had read something like this before I decided to book. For this kind of money you can have wayyyyyy better in Bali. Trust me.

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub in einem wirklich tollen Hotel/Spa. Noch nie in meinem Leben hab ich so ein freundliches- zuvorgekommendes Personal erlebt. Man fühlt sich richtig wohl und sehr wertgeschätzt.

Loved the get-away feeling here and the wonderful staff. We were sad to leave. For the gastronomes out there the food was 5 +stars all the way, everything on the menu was fresh & delectable!! Yoga classes outstanding! Just drop in, about 10-15 in each. We are medium level Yoga people and felt very comfortable with some below and above our level in each class. They provided a motorbike for us to go into Canggu. No beach peddlers to bother you here. Best massages ever

Don’t really have anything negative to say but the floors and stairs were odd in some of the spaces

Absolute gem of a home away from home. From the facilities to the on-site restaurant to the wonderful staff, faultless! And architecturally what a facinating place!
