The location is excellent and the apartment was very pleasant.

The stove top worked only half day within our 5 night stay. We have alerted the owner on the first sat. It was fixed and worked half day. As a results we couldn't use some groceries we bought and spent more money than we planned on eating warm food outside. We have alerted the owner and asked for possible compensation but did not receive an answer. Other smaller issues were thar the shower head leaked and that there were too few garbage bins outside the apartment and garbage on the ground some days.

Great location. Property could use some maintenance. Steep stairs. Lots of bedrooms for the price. Great value

The apartment was well lit and clean

This apartment is a climb thru the stairs and if you have multiple heavy luggage to carry then this is not a place for you. It doesnt have an elevator, so not advised for people with a bad knee or heavy luggage. Parts of the apartments were in a damaged condition like the mirror wardrobe and windows didn't have blinds considering daylights longer now

Great location, centrally located.

Located over a very noisy bar - don't expect sleep before 2am. Could be a great apartment, but little care given to the details (all this has been mentioned before by others, but obviously nothing done to address). What was wrong?, well - 4 flights of steep winding stairs have no light on some floors and are therefore very dangerous, no shower head on shower, no plug for bathroom basin, wifi password was wrong so couldn't connect, sleeps 6 but only 2 mugs to drink from and only a single seat at the breakfast bar, no curtains or blinds on any of the windows, coffee & filters provided but nothing to make it in, and Smart TV was tuned to internet porn when switched on! However the worst bit was the owner gave someone else the door code to come view the apartment whilst we were there - our teenage daughter who was there when they suddenly entered was very upset and felt unsafe. All in all it seems more about making money than providing a enjoyable holiday, which is sad because it could be excellent.

The location of the property was an absolute 10! In the middle of the city center around the corners of bars, restaurants and Bryggen! Received the codes to the apartment around 3 pm as confirmed by the host. The beds are comfy and the bathroom had floor heating!

No elevator, not great with a family suitcase! The host not replying on my e-mail with complaints, but asking for a review 2 times within 48 hours after we left Bergen! After one night we changed to the Radisson around the corner, one of the best hotels in Bergen! The lights in 2 bedrooms didn’t work; window blinds in the bedrooms were broken and or no blinds at all; dirty kitchen sponge; dishes in the dishwasher; wash machine with lights on; dirty cleaning cloths in the wardrobe; other wardrobe full with bedlinen! Boxes with other stuff in the living room and bathroom; a bum sleeping in front of the door next to the garbage from the cafe downstairs! All in all small things that are easy to fix/arrange to make this a great place! And only 3 out of 21 photons on Booking are from the actual apartment you rent! For a bachelor party this is a great place!

The location is perfect its exactly where we wanted to be.the beds were really comfy. The accommodation itself was of a reasonbly good standard. 3 bedrooms were great. The location is perect for boat trips. The funicular is 2 mins away by foot. Codes for doors sent on the day all good. Any questions asked were answered before I went by email. 😁😁😁

The stairs are very steep. So as long as you know that before you go alls good.. If you have any mobilty issues, this apartment is not for you.

Don’t be fooled by the pretty cosy pictures. It’s anything but. It’s more like a makeshift hostel. It’s impersonal and frankly the location is very similar to other options. This place is rented likely by someone who does not even live in Bergen so they will do and do the base minimum.

If it actually looked like the pictures and as described. Sadly it is anything but.

Maybe a couple of extra mugs for tea and coffee. A coffee plunger or coffee pod machine would also be great. Tricky stairs to navigate if you have heavy luggage

Location was very good, however weekend nights there was music/gathering of people in the street with loud noise until early am hours.

Overall cleanliness should be better; dryer lint filter was horribly dirty. Spiral stairway to apartment is narrow - 77 steps to reach apartment! No dining table. Basic cooking supplies (cooking oil, salt pepper) were not provided. Window coverings would be nice.

The appartment is beautifly redone Super clean It was a Monday night so we were not bothered by the pub downstairs at all… just be aware that it’s a fourth floor with no elevator but other than that we loved the place!

Location is ideal in terms of walking to all the main attractions, near great restaurants/cafe's but it is above a bar which can be noisy. The apartment is spacious with 3 double rooms. Open plan. Very clean! Easy to get door codes by text. Wifi & Netflix

Best to warn people its up 5 flights of steep stairs, thankfully we only had hand luggage with us! 1 bedroom has no blinds so its very light. 1 bedroom has broken blind hanging down, so again light and also doesn't look nice. Very odd collection of odd drinking glasses. There was just 2 wine glasses for a 3 bed apartment and they were tiny. Would be much better to have a nice full set. There are bins right outside the main building front door the whole time which do smell a bit. There were lots of bags of towels and laundry on the ground floor entry hall in the way the entire 4 days we were there.

Great location!

There were not enough linens for the beds in the two apartments. The host assumed that four people in one apartment meant two double beds, which was not the case. We arrived in Bergen late in the evening and there was no one in the city to help. Eventually, we found sheets (and duvets covers that had to stand in for sheets). Additionally, the bathroom in the third floor apartment smelled like sewage to varying degrees during the entire time of our stay. We could not figure out anything to improve the smell.

We had a great stay at the apartment with our group of 8, age 26-62, the location is perfect, in the center of Bergen next to everything. We definitely did hear the noise of the pub but it did not bother us too much because we closed the windows and that way we could sleep but for people sensitive to noise I would not recommend it. The beds were very comfortable and we liked the kitchen and the design.

This apartment was irredeemably awful. It has no hot water, the host refused to refund our money. I’d rather stay in jail then at this apartment or rent from the host who is completely classless.

This was the worst host, and worst apartment I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a converted attic with no hot water.

Location is over an Irish bar which is a great place to enjoy a drink however the noise level can be a bit loud until about midnight or 1am.

the Location is really central, but the pub underneath was quite loud so luckily we had the 3th floor appartement and opening hours on Monday and Tuesday nights are less long. The beds are comfortable ikea beds.

Starting with the entrance: garbage containers partly block you from entering the hallway and at the next step you find big bags of dirty bed linnen and that makes it difficult to get in with luggage. The staircase was not cleaned. Once you’re up at the apartment you see that parts of the door frame is missing and the door it’s locking mechanism is visible so the thought comes to mind that breaking in is not too difficult. There is only a 4 digit code lock and no extra lock from the inside as you would have in an hotel. The apartment has a pleasant modern look but the quality is IKEA. The beds are comfortable but other furniture like the high chairs and sort of bar table are functional but less stable and comfortable. The apartment is reasonably cleaned but has backlog maintenance, one heating element is broken of the wall and rests loose on the floor, a wooden part in the kitchen was kept in place by the coffee machine in front of it, a dimmer knob is missing, the toilet seat is loose thus takes some work to straighten every time you need to go, the shower water lock/ outflow is not ok or fouled as is gives a sewer smell in the bathroom unless you keep a slow water flow going. We found there is a fire exit from one of the bed rooms but there is a lot of mess as well as bedding stored. I contacted the Bergen fire department and they came back with the information that since the apartment has recently installed sprinklers, a second exit is no longer required. They agreed however that it is confusing with the old signage in place and that there should also be a clear fire plan communicated by the owner verbally or in writing, which we both did not get. There are 4 bedrooms with double beds but two of the rooms are actually to narrow and thus you jump in them rather than going around. Also the seating in the living/kitchen is not comfortable for more than 4 or 5 people.

Great location when it comes to being in walking distance to the city! it also had a great amount of room for an apartment for a family of six.

Due to the location, it has a tendency to be very loud. we happened to be there on a night where there was some huge outdoor party happening and there was no way to block out the noise. This is not the apartments fault just happens to be location!

The location in the center of Bergen is unbeatable.

The entrance to the house is almost blocked with garbage cans, so that it is difficult to get passed with suitcases. We could almost not enter the entrance, because about 10 large bags with used laundry blocked the corridor. Of the 8 or so blinds, more than half were defective, so we couldn't darken the bedrooms for the kids. There are 4 bedrooms that can sleep 8 people within. However, the entire apartment has only 4 small stools and not a single chair. In order for five of us to have some breakfast at the much too small high table, I had to sit on the trash can. This kitchen equipment is absolutely unacceptable. The package of tabs for the dishwasher was empty, I had to buy new ones. The toilet seat is such cheap plastic and poorly attached that you almost slide off the toilet. It is the only toilet in the whole apartment and is not separated from the bathroom. Unthinkable for 8 people, in front of us 5 partially uncomfortable. Some light switches did not work, one dimmer was missing the switch altogether. Kitchen utensils and coffee maker were partly dirty partly sticky. From the back bedroom, a door lockable from the inside only with a simple lock led into another room where laundry was stored, behind it there were other rooms that were obviously being renovated. With regard to the security of the apartment, an intolerable condition. Twice during our stay - once when I was giving an international webinar - cleaning people came in our apartment and wanted to get laundry from this storage room. There were two of them standing in the middle of our apartment when I came out of one room - unbelievable! In the living room, the radiator hangs halfway to the floor, wall scrapers go deep into the wall. There are no kitchen towels, some no bedside lamps at all, some flickering. There are also no bedside tables. There are no armoires, only free clothes racks. The whole thing is lovelessly furnished and, considering the price, absolutely indiscussable.
