A nice view on the lake.

It is very small hotel that seems to be just extra part of the restaurant. Parking is in some distance from the hotel and with heavy luggage it some effort. But in general everything was as described in Booking.com

the balcony was totally worth it - the view is breathtaking amazing location alltogether perfect holiday atmosphere + there is really great bistro just over the street! we recommend! :)

Lake View was amazing

There is no staff at morning or at night. Hard to find a parking place which is far from room and hard to take luggages to the car to the hill. No breakfast possibilities very small shared bathroom without shampoo or shower gel. I will note come again

Charming building, stunning location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money by the standards of the area. At night it felt like we had all of Gandria to ourselves.

The room had a few spiders/cobwebs up in the ceiling corners. It's an old building so to be somewhat expected. Walls are also quite thin, so it might be loud-ish if the hotel is busy.

Eventhough we had rain, the view was amazing. The room was spacious and the workers were very nice. The food was awesome, we have really enjoyed ourselves. Gandria is very small and we enjoyed it a lot. It is also a great location for a dog.

The location was absolutely stunning, the staff were so friendly, our room was gorgeous (with an amazing view) and the food in the restaurant was delicious!

Shared bathroom is quite small. No parking allowed in the village.The closest paid parking is on the hill.

Simply-furnished room with no private bathrooms but still welcoming. The personnel is relaxed and friendly. (Tip: the larger room as a fantastic double window with balcony that could be perhaps worth the extra fee) You trade some elegancy and comfort for a fantastic view as the house is directly on top of the lake water with unblocked, 180 degrees view of the lake and sorroudings hills. It is an extension of the restaurants where you can dine with fantastic local (and Sardinian) dishes and wines (minding Swiss prices, on the high sides for Euro area turists, but fair given local prices and food quality). It is located in an enchanting little town, where it is nice to wander around or to start a walk to Lugano.

Shower - cabin (in the shared bathrooms) is very small small and low so tall or large people will struggle - water temperature not stable Never the less, again for me fully acceptable trades off given location and views

Gandria is a Paradise. I booked one night at Locanda Gandria and at the end I stayed two nights. As soon as a enter the into the room I did not want to go elsewhere, I fall in love with this place. Food is great and staff at the restaurant helpful and professional.

Parking was good, we could drop the suitcases first. Room was fine, view over the lake. Calm enough, peaceful. We spent our time between Art (Davos/ Lugano) and Shopping (Lugano/Como)

We stayed for 2 nights in the small room. The lake view is fantastic, the whole staff was very nice and forthcoming and the food is just phenomenal.

A bit annoying if staff is vacuum cleaning next to you when having breakfast. The doors of the rooms are very noisy when opening and closing, maybe add some seals?
