Kasbah Rayane Ait Ben Haddou

Beautiful building and landscape. Very kind hosts who washed our clothes for us after we got them muddy.

The location, the fact that you could purchase wine to have with dinner, the meals and the fantastic host

A little bit rundown( as is the case with most-accommodation in Morocco)

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful, this place is wonderful. The building is beautiful truly beautiful well presented and extremely charming. The staff are what really makes this place stand out from the rest. They could not of made our stay any better. Great service from the moment we arrived until we left. The food, the food was the best we had in Morocco both evening meal and breakfast. A wonderful stay with wonderful staff in a beautiful building. We only had one night but we all wished we were there longer. Keep up the good work guys you are doing great.

The property was beautiful with great views and close to Ait Benhaddou. Room was spacious but basic. There are cats which are well looked after there, but they will beg! Personally I didn’t mind this as I like cats and the staff treated them well.

The staff were distant and rude. When we arrived they made us tea (which is standard) and said they would welcome us and tell us about the local area, but left us alone without knowing anything for about 15 minutes. I went to find them on their phones with their feet up in another room, completely ignoring us. I had to ask to be shown our room and for local recommendations but they were unable to give any and kept suggesting we eat dinner at the Kasbah, which we didn’t want to do. When we checked out we were told we had to pay a tax but this wasn’t made clear as the member of staff was speaking on the phone and ignored us. Be aware the property is accessible only by a gravel track which can be difficult in a small vehicle.
