Excellent breakfast.

Some areas are slightly dated but the price reflected that so was fair.

Beautifully fitted out room and ensuite: recently done, well finished, good shower and plenty of hot water. Quiet and comfortable: just what we needed at the end of a very difficult week. Excellent parking. We had dinner in the hotel: we hadn't booked but they were happy to make space for us. Although the restaurant was busy, the service was very good as was the food (the green beans were cooked perfectly!) Very generous breakfast served by pleasant staff and, as in the evening, we had no feeling of being hurrid along, even though they were clearly busy. We'd happily return.

For us everything was just as we'd hoped. Nothing to not like!

Quick service to the room and the dinner in the restaurant was lovely.

The stairs down from the room to the front door were narrow and uneven, making a fall hazard. The mattress was uncomfortable (you could feel the springs). The fridge in the room made a loud noise throughout the stay. The fire exit light at the top of the door highlighted the entire room for the full night. The toilet handle had to be put up and down 2-3 times before the toilet would actually flush.
