The guesthouse was clean and comfortable and in a great location, close to local life and the main attractions of Bukhara. What made it exceptional though was the family who lived there and ran it. We were welcomed on arrival with tea and fruits. Snacks such as these were regularly forthcoming. Although only the 11 year-old granddaughter spoke English, it was easy to communicate with apps - and body language. We asked if we could pay for food and eat with the family one evening and that turned out to be a highlight of our stay in Bukhara. We also accompanied the granddaughters to school one morning and had a tour of the school by some of the teachers. This morning we had to leave at 4.09 am to get a train and, to our surprise, the owners were up to say goodbye to us and make sure that we managed to get a Yandex with no problem. This was not just a holiday; it was a cultural experience in a welcoming home.

Absolutely nothing

Комната оформлена с национальным колоритом, я именно такое жилье и хотела. Очень удобное расположение - минут 10 пешком до центра - площади Ляби Хауз. Сразу по приезду нас напоили чаем со сладостями. Вкусные и разнообразные завтраки. Это было замечательное проживание, когда чувствовал себя в гостях в семье. По вечерам было очень приятно после долгого дня прогулок поболтать о жизни с хозяйкой Гулей. Очень дружелюбный и приветливый человек. И вообще настоящее от всего сердца гостеприимство. Для примера - мы уезжали в 7 утра и Гуля встала в 5-30, накрывать нам завтрак, хотя мы собирались сами приготовить. А ее муж сходил за свежими лепешками. Это тронуло до глубины души. Спасибо за чудесное впечатление от дней, проведенных в Бухаре.

L’hôte était très accueillante, même si parlait peu anglais elle voulait discuter avec nous et nous partager sa culture. Nous avons eu un petit déjeuner différent tous les jours et très bon! Le lieu est propice à l’échange avec les autres voyageurs. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Elle nous a aidé pour les transports également.

La salle de bain était un peu rudimentaire mais eau chaude et correcte tout de même
