We stayed in Unit #2 for 11 nights in the 2nd half of September. We had a very nice time, really enjoyed spending time on the roof deck and hopefully will visit again. We stayed in Unit #1 for the last two summers so we're repeat custom
First let me say they provide shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, dish soap, dish sponge and paper towels plus there were 4 large beach towels.
With that said, there were many items missing or not working and we called the next morning asking for assistance. No one ever reached out to us in 11 days. We met the cleaning crew and they helped with certain missing items. Bring your own coffee filters, wine opener (their's is broken) and any and all spices. Normally there are a few spices left behind by the last guest but guessing all was tossed due to Covid.
Just because we come at the end of the summer season should not mean we have to put up with a variety of missing or malfunctioning items. 3 of the 4 living room windows did not work, ceiling fan not working (temps ranged from 80 to 47 degrees), It got so cold we tried to use what we thought was a mobile heater. No, it was a fan but we didn't know that back when it was so hot in the apt. One hand towel for 11 days and no bath mat. Also no dish drainer with tray. We used what looked like an album holder with a cake pan to catch the water. A variety of lesser issues were also told to the support team but no reply.
And to the couple in Unit #1 for 5-6 nights who woke us up every single night with their loud antics, chasing the dog around the apt, and getting locked out and calling the police to get them in, consider your neighbors and keep it down.

We loved the upper deck, outdoor shower, and central AC. Peaceful and quiet but close enough to Ocean Beach for nightlife and shops.

Great location, closer to the bayside but the ocean is right down the block (3min walk).. easy access, gated and just as photos portrayed. The walls are thin between unit one and two so you would hear children, or anyone being loud in the morning if there is a concern for sleeping in.

We loved this space for us and our 2 young kids. Kitchen to cook meals, BBQ, awesome rooftop terrace and adorable decor. There are 3 units total and this one suited our needs. 2 blocks from the beach and less than a block from the ferry. 2 restaurants close by with cool beach vibes and kid friendly.

This was our first stay at this rental home on Ocean Bay Park. The location is perfect! Literally a 30 second walk from the ferry and The Schooner Inn and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The house itself was great. A little on the small side but that is to be expected at a Fire Island beach home. The place was very clean and everything was in working order. They really thought of everything when stocking this home. The kitchen had everything you would need, there was an abundance of both bath and beach towels, the a/c worked great, etc...The only thing I would say to a future renter is this place would not be ideal for more then 2 people. It’s very tight and could really only accommodate 2 people comfortably. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a weekend get away
The unit is perfect for 4 people and in walking distances to the beach and restaurants. It is very private and perfect for a quick get away. Beds were comfortable and the roof top deck was amazing.

It was clean and description advertised was accurate. I really always judge Cleanliness by utensils And they were good. I preseason anyway but it was a pleasant surprise. The mattress in sofa could use replacement. We took cot mattress and placed under so both boys could sleep on pull out. Really that was the only “bad” thing. Their were Bikes available on property fixed So we could use it. Otherwise Rented bikes as the others available we pretty rough but we got 1 good one so that was a score! We had an amazing time and had friends stop by to go out to dinner. Definitely good for us 2 adults and 2 kids ( under 11) Neighbors were nice. Almost don’t want to say to many nice things price will go up and no vacancy! Lol!

Perfect fit!

Great Stay!
The unit was very clean, and the staff at Vacasa were very helpful with anything we needed. The house is close to everything, which was a perfect location for us. We stayed in the unit with 2 adults, 2 children and a dog and it still felt very spacious.

Lovely stay. Concerned about customer service help

I tried to get in touch with someone, anyone by in site message, then text, then email, then phone call with the provided contact information and not once did anyone answer or get back to me with assistance. Fortunately I was able to figure these things out on my own but what if I hadn’t or it was close to an emergency? I know these are difficult times with possibly leaner than normal staffing but you have to have some customer service reps available. I really hope this will get better.
Regardless of this I was say again how lovely and clean the place was and how much we enjoyed our stay.

Family Vacation
Overall good..
emails I had sent before stay were never answered, with the fees that are charged, that shouldn’t be.
Also check out was listed as 11, then it was shown as 10. ?
Coffee maker not working..
Should have some lights by entrance gate, very dark and there is a little step down off walk.
Could be a little more generous with toilet paper, 2 rolls for 5 days not enough
I would book property again.

Reasonable place to stay
We rented the 2nd unit and the Overall cleanliness was perfect. Location of rental was perfect as it was close to town and the beach. Shower had great pressure and temperature. 2 HUGE Recommendations to be considered, AC unit in the bedroom and an actual door instead of a curtain for privacy. 3 out of the 4 bikes were not useable and for Fire Island this is a huge source of transportation that we were looking forward to utilizing. One bike the entire bike was rusted including the chain which rotted off. Another bike was chained up (which was also very rusted) and were given the wrong code in the email to unlock it and the other bike had a flat tire, brought it the bike shop and the tube needed to be replaced. Maybe cutting a deal with the bike shop that is steps away from the rental should be considered. We ended up paying to rent bikes which is not fair considering we were told there would be bikes for us to use.
3 minor recommendations, the screen door for The 2nd until should open the other way. It’s very hard to get everything past the door into that small area to then have to open it. The sink in the bathroom very slow and should be looked into. Should put some type of a table with chairs on the roof top as it looks in the picture. The couch is great but can’t really eat up there.
Again, overall great time but some of the key points that I mentioned should be addressed.

Great long weekend getaway
We had a group of 3 for July 4th weekend - one couple, myself, and our 2 dogs- at this property. It was clean, well decorated and the upper level deck was a great selling point, along with the outdoor shower. The only 2 issues were 1) our ability to contact Vacasa,the management company, locally. We were missing one fitted sheet In the correct size for one of the beds and were unable to turn the AC unit off on a chillier night. Although we called the 800 # to ask about these items, we never received a return call. 2) There are 4 bikes on property but one was a children’s bike, one had a rusted out lock so it couldn’t be accessed, and a third had An extremely large frame and a flat tire with a slow leak. We ended up renting bikes from the shop next door. I would stay again with a group of this size or consider the larger unit for future trips to Fire Island.

Good apt/location. Bad maintenance and cleanlines.s
Stayed with wife two nights for my first anniversary. Apt is great and the roof deck is very nice plus but we had two issues: i) We were were suppose to have available two bicycles with locks during our satay (included in the rental as per description), when we arrived there was only one semi usable bike and no locks, big negative if you plan enjoy Fire Island on bikes like we did. ii) bathroom sink was extremely slow, almost totally clogged, not the cleanliness level you expect from an upscale service theses days. We called Vacasa and these two issues, after almost one hour of waiting we were directed to their local Fire Island support, they say they couldn't send anyone for that and that they would drop us a lock for the one usable bicycle, that never arrived. Very happy we finally visited Fire Island, sand we had such level of under par service from Vacasa.

Great place. Perfectly near all. So clean. I'm truly sold. Maybe mattress could have been more comfortable, but that is preference. Isnt it. Highly a picky person and loved it.

Lovely Place
Great location, centrally located and less than a block from the ferry. It was a clean bright property. It had two new televisions with cable. I was there with my little boys and we had a lovely time!

Would not recommend
I would not recommend this property to anyone that intends on using it for cooking and lounging from the beach. It was not cleaned properly, the bed was uncomfortable and the stove and tv did not work. To some people that may not matter but to us it did because it was me, my husband and our daughter who is a toddler that were staying in the unit. The pots and pans were also old scratched up Teflon and I really felt bad about using them to cook. This place could of been better if it was clean, appliances worked to full capacity, pots and pans were new and clean, and bed was comfortable.
