We turned around & left after driving up to the unit with a construction site right next door. After reserving, the property manager sends a comment about about a 'renovation' next door. It was not a renovation, but a major rebuild, with a portapotty at the driveway entry, a dumpster behind the rental unit and a large job site. Not the 'farm retreat', the website describes. And now, the property manager will not give us a refund.

We stayed for a week and had a wonderful time! The house is super cute and cozy. My son and husband went fishing at the pond, and we had fun feeding the sheep. Lots of land to go for walks and hiking (we brought our little dog too). There is an Amish store close to the house (walkable). Definitely check it out too. Delicious jams and sourdough bread! Close to downtown Ashville. Eliana was very responsive and nice!

Stayed for a couple of days with my young son. Had a great time enjoying the terrific view, boating and swimming in the lake, feeding the sheep. House was well appointed and very comfortable. Elaina was available to help with any questions.

Our family spent a long weekend at Terramonga Farms visiting the Asheville area for fly fishing and visiting family. The accommodations exceeded our expectations in every way. The property is gorgeous and the home is very well cared for and appointed with all you need. It is clear the owners take pride in all they do to welcome guests to their incredible farm. We will certainly return for another stay.

The location was great— so close to everything we wanted to do in Asheville. The space was perfect for our family of four and our dog, so much better than a hotel. The owners were helpful and so kind.

My family of three loved our stay! The location is perfect, close enough to Asheville but far enough out of the city to feel like a secluded getaway. Check in and out was super easy and the house has plenty of amenities to make your stay enjoyable! My 8 year old LOVED feeding the sheep with the provided sheep food as well as visiting the chickens in their coops! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a sweet secluded gem in the mountains of North Carolina.

If you are considering booking this house, go ahead and do it! It is in a great location to explore the area! 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, 45 to Dupont State Forest, 35 to Canton, 45 to Chimney Rock State Park, 35 to Hendersonville. We were able to go explore everywhere we wanted!
The host were wonderful and had everything at the house that you would need. Being on the farm was extra special, especially for our toddler boys. They could not wait to go outside to see the chickens and go feed the sheep (sheep food provided).
The bed was so comfy and the sheets were super soft! I slept great! Shower had great water pressure!
Overall, I cannot say anything bad about our stay. It was wonderful.

Farm Experience close to Downtown Asheville
We had a great time. My young kids had a great time catching fireflies and frogs, caonoeing on the pond, and feeding the sheep. We loved the fire pit but hadn’t been used in a while and these city folks didn’t bring a fire starter. The house is 10 minutes from downtown ashville and pretty central to the hikes and breweries we wanted to visit. Elaina was extremely helpful and responsive

Very nice stay in the NC mountains. Enjoyed the lake with boats and fishing. Short walk to a great Amish Store.

We loved our stay here. The property is beautiful. My kids loved the pond and sheep. It was also easy to get to Asheville and other spots to explore and shop or dine. There is a grocery store pretty close by so you can do some cooking at the house. It was well stocked with supplies.

This property was the PERFECT place....the grounds are immaculate and so beautifully maintained...the pond is a fisherman's dream and the walking trails are so peaceful and serene....the house is fully equipped and exceptionally clean! Wwwwwwe ended up extending our stay! It's the perfect location to be just minutes to downtown Ashville or to the mountains and waterfalls with great restaurants nearby! We will definitely be coming back for another stay at Moore's Pond!

Tranquil Paradise!
This property was the PERFECT place....the grounds are immaculate and so beautifully maintained...the pond is a fisherman's dream and the walking trails are so peaceful and serene....the house is fully equipped and exceptionally clean! Gorgeous views, comfortable stay
We had a lovely long weekend here! The view from the patio was absolutely stunning. The property was well-kept and comfortably furnished. One of the beds was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve had in a rental, the other bed was also very comfortable but quite squeaky. The shower was really good, and plenty of hot water for 4 showers in a row. We loved having our dog, and it was a gorgeous property for taking her on walks. Wifi was strong.
The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy to cook meals there. There was both a Keurig coffeemaker and a small drip coffee maker.
One thing to note - the door of the dishwasher is inexplicably heavy and falls open very suddenly. One of us got a bruised foot from the dishwasher door falling so quickly. If a dog or a small child was in the way, it could be very bad. Please be careful, as there was no warning note.
Overall we had a wonderful time and would absolutely stay at this property again.

Beautiful home and view
Brandy was super easy to communicate with. The home was beautiful inside and had all the accommodations and pantry items one could need. The home was very dog friendly and the view was amazing. I enjoyed staying a little further away from the hustle and bustle of Asheville, but it was only a quick drive away making the location ideal. Also, our 8 year old absolutely loved being able to feed the sheep! Thanks for the hospitality Brandy!

Fun, quiet stay at the farm
My best friend and I had a fabulous time celebrating her birthday in the Asheville area. We enjoyed hiking the trails on the farm, as well as eating lunch and shopping at the Amish store nearby. It was an easy, quick trip to downtown and the Biltmore. Brandy was very responsive in her communication and flexible in letting us check in early.
Lea, the farm manager, showed us around and let us feed the sheep--the highlight of the visit! The place was as advertised, quite roomy, and peaceful with a lovely mountain/pond view. The beds were comfortable, too.

Comfortable Stay
Communication with the host was very easy. Brandy was kind and accommodating. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen is spacious and functional.
The guest is responsible for running the dishwasher and putting away the dishes. This was inconvenient because it’s in the check out instructions which we checked the day we were leaving. We wish this would have been communicated better. This is the first rental we’ve encountered where the guest is responsible for putting away the dishes.
This rental is above a garage for an adjacent home, which is also a rental property. This did not cause any inconvenience for us, just be aware you may have some very close neighbors.
We had a pleasant stay and will stay again.

it was not as private or pretty as the pictures alluded to. I didn't like being literally 20 feet from the owners house. I was hoping for a more spectacular experience for the holidays, but it worked ok. 20 minutes from down town and out in the country...

GREAT family spot
We spent the weekend at this property with our three small kids. It was between this and one other property and we chose this one because of the pond. I'm so glad we did! The pond was honestly the highlight of the entire trip. We brought our own poles, and the kids fished for hours, catching and releasing several bass. We had a great time, I was very impressed with how clean it was. Also, I anticipated a 25 minute drive to Biltmore and it wasn't more than ten minutes. Beautiful area, great house. Would totally recommend.
