Location was exceptional, Staff likewise!
Our Room had the most Wonderful Views across the Lake and Mountains, and Breakfast on the Lakeside was varied, a great start to the day!
Our particular thanks go to Maria the receptionist, who was instrumental in resolving last-minute difficulties with our return to the airport caused by impending industrial action.

The staff were excellent, the room was beautiful with the best views, the breakfast was great and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere with lovely food.

Albergo ristrutturato e rimodernato qualche anno fa in centro all'isola con affaccio sulle strette calli tra le abitazioni e vista lago verso nord-est (Verbania, isola madre e Laveno Mombello).
È sempre in piacere soggiornare qui (è la quarta volta che veniamo).
Purtroppo, anche se ristrutturato, rimodernato e con ampie toilettes, nelle camere in abbiamo soggiornato mancava sempre il frigo bar, che d'estate è praticamente necessario.
Speriamo che questa volta ascoltate il suggerimento visto che lo avevo già segnalato.

The position of the hotel on the island was excellent, with stunning views. The air conditioning worked well, and we had a nice terrace. The TV offered Netflix options, should you ever want to watch anything in your room (we didn't).
The hotel reception was a mixed bag, with a very helpful gentleman and a very unhelpful, and unfriendly lady on reception. She was truly in the wrong job. The lack of wardrobe space was probelmatic, as was the absence of basic ammenities, such a chair in the bedroom and table on the terrace in Room 102 (a standard room). Breakfast items would often run out, and choice was limited. There was no mini-fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the standard rooms, such items are only availble delux rooms.
