So clean and close to nice spots in San Pedro

Check-in could be earlier but also the luggage was saved for the staff, the pool was dirty and cold so we couldn’t swim

The room was very comfortable as was the bed. The garage is a safe place to leave a packed car. Good breakfast options. Also love that they accept pets.

Receptionist insisted I needed a pin number for my platinum American Express which was an error on her part. She kept insisting and finally I told her we would need to call Amex and she said *you do that." As I was calling them on my cellphone her supervisor arrived and corrected her, but no apology was made by either of them for the error. Perhaps she or they needed more training.

Centrally located (though navigating the highways in Monterrey is a nightmare), within walking distance of a few restaurants and a nice public park (we walked our dog there). Friendly staff, what looked like a good breakfast buffet with an omelet station (we didn't pay for breakfast ourselves but it looked good). Room was comfy and had plenty of space to spread out. Water filter machine was available by the elevators. Parking garage is under the building and it seemed safe enough to leave our all our stuff in the car (we were packed to the gills on our way to crossing to the States).

The shower had a few hairs in it and the tile was mildewy. That was the only thing that made me feel the room was less than clean.

The only good thing was the bed, which was very comfortable.

There are basically NO amenities of any kind. The AC is either freezing cold or blistering hot —making sleep a true ordeal.
