LHP Hotel River & SPA

The location and the exceptional staff were the highlights! The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean and we enjoyed breakfast. The staff organised a breakfasy box/ bag for our early check out for the airport. The reception staff were super and organised excellent restaurant reservations and the kind bar tender looked after us well with snacks. The location could not have been better! Grazie.

Modern, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is outstanding with many delicious dishes and choices and freshly made coffee. The bed and bedding is comfortable and good quality, we slept well.

We were absolutely blown away by the LHP River Hotel & Spa in Florence. From the moment we walked through the door, the welcome we received from the gentleman at reception was exceptional. That same incredible standard of warmth, care and professionalism was matched by every member of staff we encountered throughout our stay. We were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary, and the team went out of their way to make us feel special. After returning from a massage in the spa, we found a bottle of iced Prosecco waiting in our room. On our final day, we had to leave in the middle of the night for the airport. The hotel had prepared an enormous breakfast bag containing everything we could possibly have wanted. It was so full it was actually quite heavy! That thoughtful gesture perfectly summed up the level of care we experienced. Quite simply, this was the best service I have ever received in any hotel. The breakfast was also fantastic. It offered everything you would expect, but with some lovely and unusual twists that made it feel genuinely different. We looked forward to it every morning. The location was ideal, right by the river in the Santa Croce area and just below Piazzale Michelangelo, with everything we needed within walking distance. The hotel itself was superb, but it was the extraordinary staff who made our anniversary truly unforgettable. We have already decided that we will return for our wedding anniversary next year.
