The location
The pictures online of the rooms are nothing like the rooms themselves. When we asked about it, the reception desk said that they had only renovated one room, and that that is what was depicted in the pictures. That is very deceiving. I would have rather spent extra dollars and stayed next-door at the King George or the Grand Bretagne. The rooms are very dated and it shoes. The noises throughout the night kept us awake. I believe this is due to old pipes and mechanical systems in the hotel.

a bit old and tired.
Breakfast expensive for what you got
Got woken in morning by exceptionally loud drilling which sounded like it was next to our bed. A bit of warning would have been polite.

The location is great. You can go to the airport by bus for 5.5 per route. The staff is always kind and smiley. The room is big and comfortable. You can walk for shopping (lots of shops near, Ermou str.)
I feel that breakfast is too expensive 25 euros per person extra. There is some noise from the corridor when other rooms shut their door at nights. Some Details for better accommodation. We had a great time there and we will be back soon!

Staff were excellent. From the reception stuff, to the cleaning stuff and the breakfast stuff . All were exceptional
My room was on the first floor. Corner of Stadiou street. Very very noisy.

nothing really - rooms are a little dated but spotless and it is a shame having a balcony but no chairs.

the facilities , the furniture were old , the breakfast was below average.

Breakfast was lovely and beds super comfy.

We had an internal room, so it was very quiet with no traffic noise. Once you turned off the lights, it was pitch black in the room which gave us a great sleep.
The check-in was without words. No smile. No welcome chat. No nothing. Breakfast was not in our room rate and would have been €25 each (no, thanks). The location is Syntagma Square which is v e r y noisy. Think Times Square kinda loud. Our room rate was €175, which was a waste of money.

It is a smart hotel in an excellent location
It had been confirmed that we would be allocated 2 adjoining rooms. "The Computer" did not know that room 805 did not adjoin room 807. Neither apparently did the reception staff. We were offered a larger bedroom with an extra bed but we
asked them to check nearby hotels for the accom that had been confirmed would be held for us. Apparently there are no
family rooms or suites at the Plaza. By the time we reluctantly said we would accept one bedroom with an additional bed
they had let the larger room and we had to squeeze into one of the smaller bedrooms originally allocated. The cost of the second bedroom was deducted but we wasted over two hours and had an uncomfortable night. We also had one night with no towels
