Excellent room and staff were amazing. We were having a couple of days in the Cotswolds to escape a fair that happens every year on our doorstep at home. Ironically another fair was in town outside the hotel. The staff took pity on us and while we were still on route moved us to a room at the rear of the hotel and upgraded us.
We had a great nights sleep followed by an excellent full English breakfast the following morning.
We'd definitely recommend staying at the Fleece.
Nothing.

Location was great, breakfast delicious and staff very friendly. A very cosy downstairs experience.
The rooms are a bit dated, and what leaves the stay down. They could do with a refresh. The stairs was a bit stained and the showers had black marks in them.

The Hotel was as hoped, with period features, feel, and look. The room was wonderful in size with an adequate bathroom. The breakfast area was very comfortable, and a wonderful breakfast spread was on offer. Being situated right in the centre of the town, it made it very easy to explore many sites close by.
I cannot recall accurately, but I had expected a mini fridge and safety deposit box in the room, but quickly learned during my travels across England that not all Hotels offered both.

Good location and nice restaurant and bar
Shabby hallways, no soundproofing in rooms so could hear everything in adjacent rooms. Difficult to sleep. Overpriced too.
