The ocean infinity pool was nothing short of spectacular. That pool alone is worth the stay. The property is rustic and beautiful. Don't expect perfection; it's a historic property and the signs of wear are part of the charm. I did not want to leave. I requested a quiet room and was booked into the last king ocean villa on the property, as far away from everything as possible. It was perfect for me. LOVED the big glass enclosed window seat overlooking the ocean. Weather was stormy 3 of the 5 days, but it didn't matter. It was a wonderful stay. Nature / animal lovers will appreciate it here.

Refuse around the property. It's unavoidable in some areas, such as washing up from the ocean, but in remote areas on rear of property where I walked, it was disturbing. I suppose it's just a way of life here. Just remember, this is a gorgeous, natural, rustic property with an AHHHHMAZING HISTORY and if you're in this region, don't miss this place.

Great location with big spaces and nice views. Facilities have very interesting history. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No complaints, as older and larger location some maintenance activities were occurring.

The staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful throughout our stay. The pods, however, were quite far from everything and unfortunately not to a very good standard. After I raised my concerns, the staff handled the situation brilliantly and moved me to another room, which was clean, comfortable, and much nicer. The pool area itself was pleasant, although the pool water appeared quite green during our stay. The beach restaurant was in a beautiful location, but unfortunately the food quality was disappointing. Overall, the property felt quite run down and would benefit from better maintenance and upkeep.

There was maintenance going on but it just felt they were fighting a losing battle! The whole hotel felt very rundown. Breakfast was pretty awful too with paper cups for coffee.
