The breakfast was good. Staff very helpful.
The room was very dark. I wanted to get ready at the desk but it was too dark. Had to get ready, put on makeup in the bathroom. Need a light in the middle of the ceiling. Need more hooks in the bathroom to hang your clothes and towels.

The hotel was clean and tidy and room spacious and comfortable.
Quite mean on the provision of tea and coffee in the room. Only 4 small cartons of milk, no hot chocolate and not a sign of a biscuit.
The hotel was a little tired and could do with some refurbishment. The smoking area just outside the front door was very offputting with cigarette end everywhere and overflowing ashtrays.

It was very convenient for our visit destination on the outskirts of Southampton. Car park right at hotel. These are the reasons we booked it.
The room was a bit tired and felt run down. The “sofa” was well worn and there were dark marks on the carpet. The car park. I knew we had to pay for the privilege of using it but not at reception. It is apparently owned by another business so you have to go outside (in the dark and poorly lit entrance area) and use a machine to pay. You should be able to do this inside.
