For the money it was quite adequate. Clean when we arrived. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plenty with a choice of cooked foods. Host was friendly and polite and told us to knock on their door if we needed anything. Position of accommodation was good and quiet at night.
Although friendly host did not introduce themselves. We were given the door key to our room and told its number but not shown around. The stairs were quite steep. During our stay the bins were not emptied, bathroom not cleaned. Don't think the room was checked during our visit. Unable to get towels dry. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom no shelf or hooks anywhere in bathroom. For sale sign outside the property and felt that maybe host was going through the motions.

the breakfast was good, the location was perfect
on the second day of our stay at the facility, we spent most of the day in the room because the weather was very bad, the owner didn't make sure to turn on the heating, so it was very cold in the room

"Lovely comfy room, really accommodating hosts. Breakfast was good and set us up for the day, and the hot tub was a lovely extra, perfect after a day hiking"
