Southern Ocean Villas

Great location

Could have been made more comfortable with more cushions, a rug, better lighting. The whole place felt like it needed a refurb. There was plenty of room to make the upstairs into a great master suite so that felt like a missed opportunity. Also the price we initially paid kept dropping but we only got credits instead of a refund.

The villas were very comfortable. Great to have a kitchen. Good location to shops (a few minutes drive and about a 10 minute walk).

The front receptionist wasn’t very welcoming and we felt like we were interrupting her day.

Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful. Property clean and well set out. Slept well, quiet location.

.

Overall the the unit was spacious and the location is reasonably good and not too far from the beach and ammenities.

The initial unit we were in was infested by spiders in almost every room and it was not clean, of which the staff were understanding and moved my family and I to another unit with no extra cost. However the cleanliness of the second unit was not good. The shower was filthy with lots of insects, the fridge was dirty and the place overall needed to be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. I have two children under three years old and the stress of having to avoid certain areas and clean myself was unpleasant. I would recommend they clean the rooms and dust surfaces thoroughly and disinfect the rooms with insect bombs prior to occupancy of guests.
