The location in reference to distance from attractions.

Didn't help with the printing of confirmations for tours and flights. No stationary or printer to do it for oneself. When asked was just told to send to their email and they would print it off but never did.

A pleasant hotel. The best location in Barcelona. Great stuff.

Very special hotel, centrally located, built in the old schold of arts building. The hotel conserved all his caché and showing very high volume. The staff is more than 10 and is always willing to help no matter what is the problem. I think I would rate more than 10 only on the staff.

Gothic neighborhood is problematic due to small roads and many pubs, so expect some noise

The room was fantastic and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The facilities were lovely, clean, and comfortable for any length of stay. Good location in a bustling neighborhood, with easy/walkable access to a number of places of interest and transportation options.

There was nothing we particularly didn't like. The only things that were slightly disappointing were that the rooftop views weren't really great and the description of a restaurant on site is a bit misleading. There was definitely tapas and bars right outside, but it didn't seem that there was actual on-site dining.

Position of Hotel and inspiring design of room.

There are allot of stories of scams and pickpockets in Barcelona so arriving at The hotel we felt safe… We were not told that when l booked on Booking.com they had then immediately use my credit card details, contrary to what booking.com says and debited the room rate. They then asked for payment, knowing they had already debited my account. Santiago the charming receptionist had restaurant suggestion for us, but told us he had better book as it’s always booked out…. We arrived at the restaurant a unnecessary 20 min walk from the hotel passing literally over 100 perfectly good restaurants. The restaurant was empty and l asked and yes the waitress is a friend of Santiago…

loved how central the hotel was in Barcelona. our room was on the top floor so we had an amazing view of the gothic quarter. the pool was perfect!

only thing I would mention is our balcony was attached to the pool area - the only thing blocking the pool from our balcony were large plant pots. a couple of times we sat out on our balcony and there was someone stood next to the plant pots almost on our balcony

Hotel is in an excellent location , with good facilities and comfortable beds . The rooms are clean and spacious . The staff on reception are extremely helpful .

there was only one mirror in our room for 4 people . The kitchen facilities are quite limited .

A beautiful historic hotel in the Gothic area of Barcelona. We arrived early and tired from traveling. The kind morning gentleman was thorough and knowledgeable and did everything with a smile as well as, the young man who showed us to our room and went over everything. The bed was comfortable, had a lot of bright windows looking out on a plaza. We loved that it had an elevator (even though on our last day it wasn’t working and they carried all our bags down three flights of stairs. The room had a nicely equipped kitchen and coffee maker, fridge although we ate out. It had a table and chairs. The bathroom shower was magnificent and spacious. The towels were plush, and plentiful. There was also a very nice outdoor pool and deck on the roof to sun yourself and get wet.

Not that it was the hotel’s fault but, we had read that some of the European countries had cut back on energy with Russia and the Ukrainian war as the pricing was sky rocketing. It was very warm and humid all over Barcelona as a result. When the room is not cold enough it made it uncomfortable.

Location was great in the heart of the Gothic Quarter. Room was great overlooking a busy square. Luckily the double glazed windows kept the noises to an acceptable level Room was very well appointed with great shower, coffee maker, kettle and a small stove

Pool area is very small and too busy. The gym and sauna pretty pointless with inadequate air conditioning So paying a premium for these extras. Little hit and miss with the reception staff some great, some bit so great

Great location, nice room

A staff member barged into my room midday when I was having a nap and did not knock. I woke up to a man standing looking at me which was very intimidating.

Our second visit to this gorgeous hotel and we were not disappointed. The room was beautiful and clean, with a well-stocked kitchenette. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful, assisting us to book tickets for the La Sagrada Família and ordering a taxi to take us to the airport. Located in the Gothic Quarter, the hotel is within walking distance of many sights and close to shops and restaurants.
