May look for cheaper hotel next time so could spend more money on the multiple, amazing tapas bars

Location great and would stay again. Staff helpful and friendly. Air con perfect for the hot weather we experienced

Food top Bar staff may have appreciated some help to serve food faster. Would prefer being able to get pool towels before 10am. 10pm closure of roof top bar also seems early and some lights up there would have improved the ambiance

They have to fix there issues.

It was near to my favorite locations.

The stuff really needs to get it together.Really helpless in many situations not fixing problems fluently.Tremendously aggressive in some cases.Enormously stressed and fighting with the guests mostly it starts in a passive aggressive way and goes much more ugly from there.You can wait in line with 20 people and you will witness they will have an issue with every one of them.Thousand complaints rushing in with the rooms conditions.And they go out of ideas to lie why it is or has to be like that.The hotel is old.And it is falling apart.Not the lobby but the rooms need a renovation.You will have something ,ANYTHING.Water damage ,noises a view against the wall ,to small Rooms with not working refrigerator or a rusty kettle.( wich is really poisonous).Water running poorly.Claustrophobic rooms.Dirty airways.Air conditioners working badly at night.Weird or rude room service.Dirty corners.If you see its grey it is not new believe me ! ANYTHING! And on top of that they are expensive.Choose something else if you can.They need to renovate and reeducate the stuff then it would be good to go again.My opinion !!! It was really exhausting to deal with them every day and watch others dealing with them as well.I don’t have much pictures to show cause you can not take a picture of an air conditioner that’s not working well or else…but the issues are at the limit.

Location

Problem with A/C 2 days the room to hot to handle 2 nd night they brought a ventilator. Horrible !

Ideal location for a city break in Barcelona.

Great service and brilliant location. Clean modern hotel with a wonderful view.

Shame that the sauna was out of service.

Fantastic location, and the Junior Suites offer plenty of space

Our second visit to the Silken, for us it’s the ideal choice. The Junior Suites are spacious and very comfortable, so nice to have space to relax if you’re staying for more than a night. The roof-top pool is a bonus, offering more space to relax.

Noise from renovations from below, although it didn’t start until after 9am. Also some ants in the bathroom for the few 2 days, although these didn’t stay long!

wouldn’t come here again a shame because the location is great

the lift had cardboard stuck all around it like something from a movie. the bathroom was barley wiped clean.

liked the location of the hotel, it was convenient. the decor was lovely too

location, cleanliness, some of the reception staff were lovely. decor is very nice too.

it’s noisy, both inside and outside, very noisy. seems like paper thin walls. no monitoring of very late night guests congregating at the elevators and in the hallways creating a disturbance. the windows are not sealed properly and handles don’t appear to lock the windows very well in our room anyway. bed terribly uncomfortable (and it was on wheels and had a wobbly leg). constant sound of running water coming from the bathroom. leaking shower (dripping) and lastly, construction work going on with constant drilling early on Friday morning and on Saturday too. on check out I would have pointed all of the above out, but we were never asked how our stay was and the door cards were just taken back and told “thank you and goodbye”

Not worth the price

Nice staff and good location.

No rest, we heard all the noise, from others' rooms, the corridor, and the street. Sauna is not worth it.

Very convenient location with nice restaurants and cafes around it. Warm and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Weak internet. Rooms without character but clean. Beds not comfortable at all, one of them was a fold out couch. Common areas, lobby, lounge and breakfast area, in decadence. The hotel needs a complete renovation.

worst hotel ever

we booked 3 rooms and the 3 of them were bad ,the hotel is so old the bathrooms are dirty, the katle makes the water yellow , noise from the other rooms , the shower doesnt work well , the doors key doesnt work every time i have to charge it , the staff not helpful , very very old hotel i dont advise any one to stay in it because of the bad experience i had , it was the worst hotel i’ve ever tryed

Needs more improvements. Never through other people staff and front disk you are here to be blamed

The location. Front disk helpful for some advices thank you

Heat of the room and you cab’t open the window. Cleaning lady through away my soap which I bought from my home. And other stuff which wasn’t next to the trash. It took forever to grab our bags from the rooms to check out. After telling them they say your not the only one I understand that but it not acceptable to take more than 20 min or they should inform previously so I won’t miss my flight.

Excellent location and very good value for m oney, would stay again.

The location was perfect for us, virtually on the ramblas and close to the market which has excellent food and atmosphere, The hotel bar was decent value and served good cocktails. The hotel and rooms were clean , didn't eat there so cannot comment.

The noise from the street at night was a bit intrusive.

Exceptional

Good location is middle of main city canter and shopping Area La Rambals ,all kinds of cafe and restaurant was surrounded,clean room and hotel, breakfast have good wide range ,staff service are very good, i recommend for next visit, I rate my experience is ☆☆☆☆☆

Only in room water bottle provide only first day, other than Nothing to say,
